Elina Svitolina defeated Belinda Bencic

Ukraine’s Elina Svitolina defeated Belinda Bencic (4-6, 6-4, 6-0) during the fourth round of Roland Garros (the French Open).

This milestone marked Svitolina’s tenth consecutive win and advanced her to the quarterfinals of the French Open for an incredible sixth time in her career. Her spectacular run in Paris closely followed her third Italian Open championship victory in Rome, where she defeated Coco Gauff in the final.

She will face superstar Marta Kostyuk, also from Ukraine, in the next round.
