Putin complained that already on the first day of the elections, the “Kyiv regime” was spoiling everything for him.
On the very first day of the presidential elections , Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the entire process was being disrupted by the “Kyiv regime” with its armed actions.
Also, the politician, looking into the eyes of the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shoigu, said that the advertised air defense systems did not shoot down all the targets today. He stated this at today’s meeting of the Security Council of Russia.
“In order to disrupt the voting process, to intimidate people at least in the regions bordering Ukraine, the neo-Nazi regime in Kyiv planned and is trying to carry out a series of criminal, demonstrative, armed actions,” Putin said.
Later in his speech, he mentioned the strikes on peaceful settlements in the Russian Federation and admitted that Moscow was unable to shoot down 5% of the targets (“launched” by Kyiv at Russia, as Putin believes).
“About 95% of the enemy’s missiles and projectiles are destroyed by our air defense means. However, we have casualties…” – said Putin.
At the end, the leader of the Russian Federation consoled the relatives of the victims with a verbal promise to provide assistance.

That may have been a thinly veiled side jab at the defence minister, that Putin has been informed about the vulnerabiluty of Russian air defence. Did Shoigu turn pale? People have fallen out of windows for even minor failures.
Btw, the 95% number is certainly fake. When Ukraine launches drones, more than only one out of twenty get through.
