Ukrainian Defence Industry (UOP) and the American company Amentum Services will set up a joint venture to restore and maintain US-made armoured vehicles.

“The Ukrainian Defence Industry Joint Stock Company has signed a memorandum of intent to establish a joint venture with Amentum Services, Inc. (USA), one of the leading companies in global design, project management and solution integration. We are talking about potential cooperation on the restoration and maintenance of American-made armoured vehicles,” the statement said.
It is noted that earlier representatives of the American company visited Ukroboronprom (UOP) enterprises, assessed their existing capabilities, technical base and potential. Domestic weapons manufacturers expect new partners to help them obtain technical documentation, equipment and spare parts that will be useful in the repair and maintenance of US-made armoured combat vehicles.
As reported, on 10 June 2024, the first joint workshop for the repair and production of German armoured vehicles in Ukraine was opened as part of a joint venture with Rheinmetall.

That Rheinmetall already opened their repair shop, while US companies just entered the planning stage, makes me proud, as a German patriot. That’s a good show of the traditional strength of our country, the capabilities of the industrial sector. 🇩🇪🙂🇺🇦
I agree Sir Gray. Too bad the current PM doesn’t share the aggressive attitude exhibited by the many good German companies and some politicians. I was so hopefully when he came into office. I thought he would make a difference. In some ways he has but IMHO he remains two faced.
