Dzhankoy has been without electricity for the seventh day, there is a shortage of water and fuel, – Chubarov

Dzhankoy and the Dzhankoy district in temporarily occupied Crimea have been without electricity for seven days. There is also an acute shortage of water and fuel.

As Censor.NET reports , this was announced  by the chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Refat Chubarov.

“For many rural residents, imported drinking water has become practically inaccessible due to skyrocketing prices caused by the equally skyrocketing cost of fuel. In addition, there is a catastrophic shortage of fuel itself,” he emphasized.

According to Chubarov, a similar situation is observed in other steppe areas of Russian-occupied Crimea.

“We sincerely sympathize with all the residents of Crimea who are waiting for the liberation of the peninsula from Russian barbarians and are forced to go through new trials caused by the Russian occupation. We thank them for the fact that, despite all the difficulties and repressions, they do not lose hope and remain loyal to Ukraine,” the Chairman of the Mejlis emphasized.

What preceded it?

The tourist season in temporarily occupied Crimea remains unsuccessful, despite a significant drop in accommodation prices. To attract vacationers, hotels are forced to offer discounts of up to 50%.
