For the second night in a row, air defense forces and assets in the Rostov Region (Russian Federation) worked due to drone attacks. Explosions were heard in the Kamensk-Shakhtinsky area.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with a reference to Rostov Region Governor Vasily Golubev’s Telegram.

According to the Russian official, “several UAVs” were allegedly shot down during the drone attack. This happened at about 4 am local time.

“The drone debris fell on the industrial site,” he claims.

The governor adds that “the glazing of a non-residential building was damaged” and that no one was hurt.

Meanwhile, footage was posted online that supposedly shows the moment one of the drones flies over the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky.

The target could have been the Kamensky Combined Plant

It is worth noting that the Kamensky Combined Plant is located in Kamensk and is considered one of the largest chemical plants in this region of the Russian Federation.

According to the CIA data previously published by the media, this plant has been producing composite fuel for rocket engines for RT-2 solid-fuel ballistic missiles and hosting test facilities since 2011.

Earlier, the Russian publication Astra wrote that the building of the Kamensky Combined Plant was already damaged by a drone strike back at in April, during a drone attack in the Rostov Region.

  1. Good job, AFU.
If a drone hits the rocket fuel itself, the plant will be history and everyone inside and outside who’s near enough. Maybe next time.

  2. I like to see drone attacks on Rostov. That city is in a strategically important location for Russian logistics – remember how Prigoshin took care to take it over before marching on Moscow? – and if its residents get tired of the war, that will be helpful. There should be more air strikes on warehouses, railways and bridges there. 😈👾
