Video footage was captured of a Russian Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft artillery system losing control while making a turn in Sochi. The vehicle keeled over and narrowly missed a passing car.
A road accident involving a Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft artillery system was caught on camera in Sochi, Russia. Footage from a street surveillance camera was posted initially on local Russian social media on Thursday, Feb. 29.
Although the video has since been deleted, a Kyiv Post military analyst reviewed it thoroughly and identified the vehicle as a Pantsir-S1 air defense system.
However, Kyiv Post could not independently confirm the exact location where the video was filmed.
The footage reveals the moment when the driver of the anti-aircraft vehicle lost control while emerging from beneath an overpass and trying to turn sharply to the right. The Pantsir toppled over, narrowly missing a passing car.
Assessing the extent of damage sustained by the air defense system remains challenging.
The Russian Pantsir missile system constitutes a family of self-propelled, medium-range surface-to-air missile and anti-aircraft artillery systems. This system consists of three vehicles: a missile launcher, a radar truck, and a command post.
Designed to protect military, industrial and administrative installations from aircraft, helicopters, precision munitions, cruise missiles, and UAVs, the Pantsir-S1 also protects air defense units against enemy air attacks, particularly at low to extremely low altitudes.
According to open sources, the unit cost of the Pantsir missile system ranges from $13.15 million to $14.67 million in export markets.

The driver just found himself volunteered to the frontline.
Yeah, Foccusser, my guess, too. Maybe the driver deliberately tried to delay arrival at the front, but I don’t think that helped him. 🤔
He looked to have clipped the kerb on the far side, and he was obviously driving too fast, or he had stolen it and was trying to escape from the police. 😂
That one last glass of vodka was not a good idea.
