The French leader recalled that the war is going on in Europe.
French President Emmanuel Macron said that it is time for Ukraine’s allies to step up. He stressed that now is not the time to show cowardice.
“We are certainly approaching the moment when it will be appropriate in Europe not to be a coward,” Reuters quoted Macron as saying.
The French leader faced backlash from many Western partners after openly discussing the idea of sending Western troops to Ukraine at a Ukraine conference in Paris on February 26.
Referring to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Macron said France and the Czech Republic “are well aware that war is again taking place on our soil, that some powers that have become uncontrollable are threatening to attack us more and more every day, and that we will have to live up to history and the courage it requires.”
During his visit to Prague, Macron intends to discuss support for plans announced by the Czech Republic, with support from Canada, Denmark and other countries, to finance the rapid purchase of hundreds of thousands of ammunition from third countries for shipment to Ukraine.

I suspect that Macron is directing his anger towards Scholtz, but it’s not only Scholtz that refuses Ukraine the weapons to destroy the bridge, Biden is another that come up with a million excuses why Ukraine can’t be supplied with long range missiles. The West need to make up their mind, they either want a Ukrainian victory, or another Cold war.
