Donetsk and Makeyevka under attack by drones (video)

Donetsk, occupied by Russian invading forces, has come under massive attack from unmanned aerial vehicles.

According to local Telegram channels, air defense forces began operating over the city on the night of Tuesday, July 29. Sounds typical of kamikaze drones can be heard in videos published online. Locals also report that the city is under attack by UAVs.

In addition, explosions are heard in occupied Makeyevka, which is actually a northeastern suburb of Donetsk. Both cities are partially without power. The occupation authorities have not commented on the night attack.

Let us recall that this month, some of the occupied cities of Donetsk region, in particular Donetsk and Makeyevka, faced a serious shortage of centralized water supply .

Water began to be supplied very limitedly – only once every few days and no more than four hours a day. Although the official daily water consumption rate is 330 liters per person, in practice residents do not have the opportunity to collect even part of this volume during the permitted time, especially residents of the upper floors of multi-story buildings.

The population is forced to wait in long lines for water trucks, and some people are recording an appeal to the Kremlin ruler Putin, calling on him to resolve this issue.

The reasons for the collapse are the shallowing of the main reservoirs of the Donetsk region , in particular the Verkhne-Kalmius and Makeyevka, as well as the destruction of the Seversky Donets – Donbass water pipeline.
