Ombudsman Lyudmila Denisova reported such facts . She clarified that the facts of the commission of the following crimes have already been established:
- Girl, 14 years old, raped by 5 male invaders. Now pregnant. Bucha.
- A boy, 11 years old, was raped in front of his mother – she was tied to a chair to watch. Bucha.
- A 20-year-old woman, raped by three invaders at once in all possible places. Irpin.
Denisova recalled that rape is strictly prohibited by Article 27 of the Geneva Convention for the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War in 1949.
“I appeal to the UN Commission to Investigate Human Rights Violations during the Russian military invasion of Ukraine and the expert mission, created by the OSCE participating States in accordance with the Moscow Mechanism, to take into account these facts of Russian war crimes in Ukraine. Rashist occupiers must bear the strictest responsibility!”, she wrote.
