Ivana Stradner, Research Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, joins TVP World to break down a series of major developments both inside Russia and at the frontline in Ukraine.

She explains why the bomb attack targeting a top Russian Air Force commander is bad news for Putin, exposing security failures at home while fueling internal discontent. She warns that in the coming days, Russia will launch a propaganda campaign blaming Ukraine, the CIA, MI6 and Mossad for the attack.

Stradner argues that Ukraine has already brought the war to Moscow and Saint Petersburg through drone technology, and that fuel shortages and a struggling economy are adding to growing Russian dissatisfaction. She stops short of predicting a revolution, but says more discontent is on the horizon.

On Patriot missiles, she urges caution about reading too much into Trump’s latest statement, but stresses that without the Patriot system, Ukraine cannot defend itself and Putin has no reason to stop escalating.
