Russian losses continued to mount across the battlefield, with Ukrainian forces reporting heavy personnel casualties and significant damage to artillery, air defense, and logistics assets over the past day.
Russian forces lost another 1,560 troops, two tanks, one air defense system, and 57 artillery pieces over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on May 31.
According to the latest figures, Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,364,060 troops.
Ukraine’s military also reported the destruction of 14 armored combat vehicles, six multiple launch rocket systems, 19 ground robotic systems, 1,894 operational-tactical drones, 524 vehicles and fuel tankers, and three pieces of special equipment over the past day.
Overall, Russian equipment losses reported by Ukraine now include 11,962 tanks, 24,657 armored combat vehicles, 42,987 artillery systems, 1,819 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,399 air defense systems, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 320,327 operational-tactical drones, 4,693 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, and two submarines.
The General Staff added that 302 combat engagements took place along the front line over the past day as Ukrainian Defense Forces continued to repel Russian attacks across multiple sectors.
According to the military, the heaviest fighting was recorded in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole directions, where Russian forces launched a combined 92 assaults. Ukrainian aviation, missile forces, and artillery also struck a Russian command post, an artillery system, three drone control centers, and two additional military targets during the reporting period.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces reported striking two Russian Tu-142 maritime patrol aircraft and an Iskander missile system near Taganrog in Russia’s Rostov region. According to SBS Commander Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, the targets were hit by long-range drones during an overnight operation on May 30.

At this rate the orcs will have lost 1.5 million by the end of summer.
