Russian forces lost another 1,550 troops, two tanks, and 68 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on June 5.
According to the latest figures, Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,370,890.
Ukraine’s military also reported the destruction of four armored combat vehicles, two multiple launch rocket systems, one air defense system, 14 ground robotic systems, 2,046 operational-tactical drones, 329 vehicles and fuel tankers, and two pieces of special equipment over the past day.
Overall, Russian equipment losses reported by Ukraine now include 11,980 tanks, 24,684 armored combat vehicles, 43,315 artillery systems, 1,832 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,404 air defense systems, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 329,772 operational-tactical drones, 4,733 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 103,300 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,250 pieces of special equipment.
The General Staff added that 273 combat engagements took place along the front line over the past day as Ukrainian Defense Forces continued to repel Russian attacks across multiple sectors.
Earlier, Ukraine’s “I Want to Live” project published a list of 1,059 Russian students allegedly recruited by the Russian Defense Ministry directly from universities, as Moscow looks for new manpower to replace battlefield losses.
The project, run by Ukraine’s Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, said that Russian military recruiters and enlistment officers are now visiting universities to recruit young men who were in high school only recently.

This is day seven of the enemy losing over a thousand pieces of meat.
