“Daddy” Just Accelerated The Killing Of Ukrainians

It never works out—never.

The latest iteration of “Trump will be good for Ukraine” lasted three days, but sadly this might have been the most tragic. We have had a number of such moments over the last months. My favorite (in a horrifying way) was the famous Trump-Zelensky sit down in St Peters during the funeral of Pope Francis. For some reason, this picture led people to believe that Trump was honestly going to help Ukraine.

Trump, Zelensky meet one-on-one in Vatican basilica to seek peace in Ukraine

Trump did what he always does after such meetings. Make a bland pro-Ukrainian/anti-Russian statement and then goes back to Washington and continues to help Putin as much as possible. In case you do not remember, the statement Trump made after the St Peter’s meeting was a question that ‘Maybe he (Putin) doesn’t want to stop the war’.

It was meaningless, self-evidently true, committed Trump to nothing—and quickly forgotten.

Btw, this happened on April 26.

We had another re-run this last weekend during the “Daddy” summit. After European leaders massaged Trump with vigor, the US president threw them a little crumb (which people weirdly thought was some great victory). In response to a question, Trump said he was thinking of sending Ukraine more air defense. The actual quote was: “We’re going to see if we can make some available”.

Well, it did not take two weeks for this nonsense to be exposed—just two days. It turns out that the US Department of Defense, at that very moment, was working to turn off as much of the remaining aid taps for Ukraine as they could—including the exact air-defense equipment that Trump mentioned. Last night the White House confirmed that the US was stopping some/all of the remaining (Biden-era) shipments of aid to Ukraine including crucial Patriot air defense systems (and other vital material).

This is a shopping list of much of the most important aid that Ukraine desperately needs to fight and without which many more Ukrainians will die. The nightly bombardment of Ukrainian cities will now be more effective for Russia, and the Ukrainian ability to strike back on the Russians will be lessened.

Just as a clarification—not only are the Patriots a crucial part of the Ukrainian air defense network, AIM-7 (Sparrow) missiles and Stingers are further key parts of the Ukrainian air defense network.

If Putin could write a wish list of the weapons he would want Trump to keep from Ukraine—this would be it.

The idea that the US needs these now is also a sham. Many of these weapons would be of dubious value in a war to protect Taiwan (and btw, the US is hardly planning for one I was recently told).

Now this decision may be revisited one the sham “assessments” are over. However even if that happens, Ukraine will have had weeks without vital supplies.

Its one more example of how the Trump administration is taking active steps to help Russia kill Ukrainians.

Maybe Europe will stop the stupid, self-destructive flattery of Trump and actually start acting in its own interest. European states, as I said in the weekend update, actually have some powerful tools to use to coerce Trump into helping Ukraine—if they had the self-respect and strategic understanding to use them.

First amongst these tools is the declaration that they will only buy US weapons going forward if the US also sells them weapons that they can then send on to Ukraine. The Trump administration is desperate that Europeans keep buying US weapons—and almost certainly would have to respond positively to such a position. This is from the update.

And the sad thing is that instead of playing the weak child—Europe has some very strong cards to play with Trump. In particular, the US is keen for Europeans to continue buying US weapons (they seem to have panicked a little when they realized that in pressing for more European defense spending they might encourage the Europeans to develop their own defense industries more). Europeans could easily make offers to buy US weapons on the pledge that the US will also sell Patriots to Ukraine. It could be a very effective strategy—but it means that they would have to use some pressure on the USA. Little children do not do that.

Btw, this is not the only thing that Europeans can do—but it would arguably be the most effective; However, it requires self-respect and self-confidence.

So there we have it—another sham moment has passed, though in this case the US was actively planning on sabotaging what little support was left for Ukraine while Trump was telling his little lies.

When a Russian missile slams into a Ukrainian apartment building tomorrow night or the next, and a young couple, maybe with a newborn child, is killed, just remember:

This is “Daddy” in action—this is the USA in action.

  1. The allies of Ukraine have known for a long time that Krasnov wants to help his rat fuhrer.
Yet they took no measures to prepare for a total withdrawal/betrayal by the U.S.

    • It’s all about the dirty money. First deal is to sell weapons to Ukraine in insufficient amounts, then steal her resources and finally let Putin win so there’s a ‘peace’ and ruSSian oil and gas can power Europe’s and America’s economies again. The world won’t change. Will have a few drinks now and play Super Nintendo with my gurl. 🤐

What “peaceful settlement” is this administration talking about?
Putin is not stopping. Russia continues to wreak havoc beyond its borders, still occupying sovereign Ukrainian lands. History shows that delaying the pushback against imperial aggression only increases the cost, in blood, in dignity, in global stability. If this is the final throes of Russia’s dying empire, then nature will take its course. Like all empires, it will shrink, perhaps to the size of a raisin. That’s not warmongering. That’s the natural arc of unsustainable conquest. To fight this momentum is to fight nature itself. And fighting nature is death.
The US should stand for life. Not hinder it.
Not weaken it. And certainly not starve one of the few nations showing the world how to defend life so heroically, creatively, and enduringly as Ukraine has. This deserves to be honored, not obstructed.
This moment is not about politics. It is about alignment with life or the machinery of death. Ukraine has chosen life. And shown the world what it means to protect it.

The orange orangutan has a long memory for revenge, and Ukraine failed to give him “evidence” of Biden misconduct (if it existed at all) – and Trump is using every opportunity to punish Ukraine for not interfering in US politics on Trump’s behalf. Combine that with whatever Putin is holding over Trump’s head, and Ukraine will vanish under the Russian bootheel.

We are seeing the culmination of Trumputin’s adoration for Russia and Russians.
He looks at people being gulaged or murdered for pointing out they have c—- lives and likes what he sees.
The clock is ticking – when will we see the first shipments of US weapons to Moscow?

This injustice is maddening. The Budapest Memorandum, given in exchange for the world’s third-largest nuclear arsenal and our strategic aviation, may now seem like just a piece of paper. Here in Ukraine, however, it was understood as a solemn guarantee of our security, sovereignty, and independence.
Now, one “guarantor” has launched an unprovoked attack, using overtly terrorist tactics to strip us of the very attributes of a free state. Meanwhile, another is restricting the supply of weapons and air defence systems that are absolutely critical for holding the frontline and protecting our civilians and infrastructure.
Words fail to capture the depth of this injustice. The people of Ukraine have been profoundly deceived.
After this, who in their right mind will ever again trust a signed treaty? Who will willingly disarm or abandon a nuclear programme?
In our interconnected world, no one can afford to stand aside. A choice must be made: you are either on the side of good or of evil.
P.S. We remain deeply grateful to the British People for their steadfast position and support.
P.P.S. American People, thank You so much for your help. Hope this pause in supply will be short. As here we trust in God also.

Trump is giving Ukraine to Putin.
The geo-political consequences will be seriously grave for Ukraine and the Western world.
Depleted American stocks of weapons is B S – the supply of ammunition was ramped up well over a year ago and American industry is legendary with industrial supply of munitions.
Trump could crush Putin’s invasive ambitions – but he wants “Deals” with Russia instead of maintaining democracy in Ukraine and the world.

“A choice must be made: you are either on the side of good or of evil.”

That choice has already been made by the abomination in Kremlin West. And his lackeys are backing it to the hilt.

  4. Having made a knee fall before the fat orange freak to lather and massage his sick narcissist mind was a fool’s errand of which the Europeans are becoming famous for the world over. Will the day ever come when they fully realize that this gangster will always refuse to do the right thing, no matter how they grovel?
Europe is actually a powerful continent, economically, scientifically, and industrially, it can stand on its own … once it finally grows up.
Until this evil POS is gone from the White House, daddy is no longer there for his children. Maybe they know it NOW?
Oh, wait, I think I’ve asked this question several times before during the past three and a half years.
