United States President Donald Trump has confirmed that he wants to recognize occupied Crimea as Russian. 

In an interview with TIME magazine, the politician once again accused Ukraine of starting a war with the Russian Federation. According to him, Kremlin ruler Putin decided to launch the attack after Kyiv declared its desire to become a member of the North Atlantic Alliance:

“I think the war started when they started talking about joining NATO. Crimea will stay with Russia.”
