According to him, the world must take decisive measures to ensure that Russian terror against Ukraine and the very principles of peace cease.

The damage to the Dormition Cathedral of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra by a Russian strike is a crime against humanity, the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU), Metropolitan Epiphanius, wrote online .

“The roof of one of the holiest sites in the Christian world – the Dormition Cathedral of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra – is on fire,” he noted.

According to Epiphanius, on the night of June 15, Russians committed yet another “crime against humanity, against history, against Christianity.”

“What else must the Kremlin’s Antichrist do to make the world realize that decisive measures must be taken to end Russian terror against Ukraine and the very principles of peace?” the Metropolitan emphasized.
