Russia has officially laid out its conditions for ending the war, presenting a list that would require Ukraine to surrender key elements of its sovereignty and the international community to legitimize Moscow’s territorial gains.
According to Foreign Minister Lavrov, the “peace” terms include:
▪️Official international recognition of Crimea, Sevastopol, the so-called DPR, LPR as well as Kherson and Zaporizhzhia as Russian territories.
▪️Lifting Ukraine’s ban on direct negotiations with Russia.
▪️Ukraine’s formal rejection of NATO membership and confirmation of a non-aligned, neutral status.
▪️Full demilitarization and so-called “denazification” of Ukraine.
▪️Removal of all sanctions against Russia and the return of frozen Russian assets.
▪️Repeal of Ukrainian laws that restrict the use of the Russian language, culture, and the Russian Orthodox Church.
