During a meeting in Washington, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and US President Joe Biden “laughed” at Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson. Bild columnist Herbert Bauernebel reported this.
In particular, Scholz called this interview a “ridiculous story.”
“To be honest, it only ridicules Russia’s real actions in Ukraine and tells an absolutely absurd story about the causes of this war,” the German Chancellor noted.
According to him, there is a “completely understandable reason” for the war unleashed by the Russian Federation – the desire of the Russian president and Russia to annex part of Ukraine.
“And any stories that are told about this do not change the fact that this is precisely the purpose of his imperialist intentions,” Scholz said.
