The Come Back Alive Foundation received 3,000 night FPV kamikaze drones, which were purchased within a joint project with United24 and Monobank.
The Foundation’s press service announced this on its social media.
This large batch of FPV drones with thermal imaging optics, purchased within Operation Unity Part II: Fireworks!, is ready to be transferred to the military.
“The first kamikaze drones from this batch are already heading to the front line for the sole purpose of burning Russian armored vehicles, positions, and the invaders themselves,” the Foundation shared.
The obtained drones can fly at a distance of 12 to 20 kilometers and carry a munition weighing up to 4 kilograms.

Ammunition for these drones was also purchased as part of this initiative.
“These 3,000 FPV drones have another extremely important feature: thermal imaging optics. So the enemy will feel the “fireworks” from your donations even at night,” the Come Back Alive noted.
Last December, a fundraiser was launched to implement Operation Unity Part II: Fireworks! project.
Back then, during the 3 days of fundraising, it was possible to collect more than UAH 226,000,000 for 5,000 FPV kamikaze drones – 3,000 with thermal imaging cameras for night operation and 2,000 with daytime cameras.

Strike drones with thermal imaging optics will allow the Ukrainian military to carry out operations in the nighttime and destroy enemy equipment and infantry under any conditions.
The first batch of 2020 daytime FPV drones within this joint initiative arrived in January this year.

FPV drone models and ammunition for them are coordinated with the Ukrainian military. The Ukrainian industry produced the standardized warheads for these UAVs.

This news is far better than it sounds. FPV drones are important in the first place, but night-capable ones are even more so. And, remember that these cost several times more than a regular drone.
I’m looking forward to seeing many more nighttime videos of roaches and roach material getting fried.
Together we are making amazing things happen!😎👍
