Unidentified perpetrators on Sunday, December 1, opened gunfire on a Range Rover vehicle in Kyiv city center.

Besides the driver, there was a 3-year-old boy in the car. The boy, who was Soboliev’s son, was killed in gunfire, the source said.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Leo Tolstoy and Tarasovska streets.
A CSI team are working at the scene, which has been cordoned off.
The investigation is underway.
Metro police have introduced a special protocol to track down the attackers who are believed to have fled the scene in a Lexus vehicle.

This stinks in more than one way. First killing a child is a disgusting act of cowardice. Secondly, what the hell was a 3 year old doing in the front seat? Kids at that age have to be strapped in an appropriate child seat up to the age of 12.
Kids don’t belong on the front seat. The airbag would kill a child instantly in case of a collision. Ladas don’t have airbags though…

We saw recently in Mexico, with the shooting deaths of three women and six children, that scummy thugs don’t give a shit if children are amongst their victims. I hope that the perpetrators will be caught and duly and severely punished.
Mike and foccusser are correct; little kids have no business sitting on the front seats of automobiles! This was clearly a case of “I’m a politician and above the law” syndrome which cost the young life of this idiot.
These scumbags obviously knew he was with his wife and kid, no doubt they was tailing him, and if they had have killed the Father, the wife and kid could have also died in the resulting crash.
