VDL has just reiterated her democratic credentials; ie zilch, with this statement:

“The United Kingdom should rejoin the European Union to “fix” Brexit, Ursula von der Leyen has said, after Labour pledged to forge closer ties with the bloc if elected.”

Labour of course will take the U.K. back into the EU by stealth; ie an EU member in all but name, if elected.

The one thing that was worth keeping : the right of U.K. citizens to live, work and retire in the EU and vice versa was not retained.
British people are not anti-immigration. They just want to restrict it to accepting only those immigrants who contribute more than they take out.
Unfortunately, the torrent of illegal immigrants from primitive, savage cultures; aka future Labour voters, has not been stopped. Due entirely to the French policy of putting them on boats and dumping them on the U.K.

    • Agreed, the right to live, work, holiday for longer than 90 days or retire was thrown away.

Parasitic currency trading was preserved by keeping the £, when to cut down on admin and exchange aggro I would have gone into the Euro, making it an even stronger currency.

    • Anyone in their right minds know that the UK and the US are not anti immigrant. Simply there needs to be a process that is legally enforced.

    • @scradgel
Basically, while you no longer paid police fees, you accuse us of having, like Lukashenko with Poland or Russia with Finland, waged a hybrid war on you? listen, be kind, look for other scapegoats and clean up in front of your door…. your dishonesty should have limits, the French are not doormats.

🤝British company Urenco will supply enriched uranium to Ukrainian Енергоатом , contributing to energy security and independence of Ukraine.

According to the signed contract, the supply is scheduled for 2035, with the possibility of extension until 2043.

💬 Minister of Industry and Economic Security of Great Britain Nusrat Ghani said:

“Nuclear power provides more than half of Ukraine’s electricity and has gained even more importance after Russia’s illegal invasion caused enormous damage to much of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.”

I am glad to see that British experience is playing such a crucial role in supporting Ukraine’s energy security during its recovery, as well as in creating jobs and developing the economy at home”.

“Nuclear power provides well over half of Ukraine’s electricity and has become even more important since Russia’s illegal invasion inflicted massive damage on much of the rest of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

I am delighted to see British expertise playing such a crucial role in supporting Ukraine’s energy security as it rebuilds, while also supporting jobs and growing the economy back home.”
