The UK government has said it is “doing everything it can” to crack down on British companies exporting weapons parts to Russia.

This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to Sky News.
The British spokesman’s comment came after a post by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in which he stated that Russia still receives foreign components to manufacture weapons.
According to Zelensky, microcomputers for controlling the flight of drones with which Russia attacks Ukraine are manufactured in Britain.
A British government spokesman, commenting on this, said that London takes “extremely seriously” reports of defense exports to Russia.
“We have banned the export of thousands of goods to Russia, including all military equipment that Ukraine has notified us of, and together with our international partners have imposed the toughest sanctions package ever applied to a major economy,” a government spokesman said.
He added that any company found to be committing such an offense could face criminal prosecution or significant financial penalties.
