Russian authorities report two deaths as a result of one of the attacks.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported several attacks in the Belgorod and Kursk regions during the night and morning of March 16.

In particular, according to the Russian authorities, at night five Ukrainian aircraft-type drones were allegedly shot down over the territory of the Kursk region, and an RM-70 “Vampire” multiple-launch rocket projectile and a TRK “Tochka-U” missile were shot down over the territory of the Belgorod region.

In the morning, around 08:00 Moscow time, as stated by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Belgorod region was allegedly attacked again from the RM-70 “Vampire” system: “Eight rockets were destroyed in the air.”

Updated . The governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoyt, said that settlements in the Korenivsky and Glushkiv districts were shelled: “In the village of Vnezapnoye, 9 attacks were recorded. None of the residents were injured. There is destruction on the territory of the Pivdenna agricultural company… The village of Uspenivka was also shelled. In the Glushkiv district, there was shelling the village of Tyotkine and the village of Popovo-Lezhachi. None of the residents were injured. In the village of Tyotkine, several houses were damaged by explosions.”

In addition, the Russians reported two more drone attacks in the Belgorod region this morning.

According to the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, two people were killed and three were injured as a result of the shelling of Belgorod by the “Vampir” volley fire system.

Breakthrough of volunteers to Russia – what was reported

It was previously reported that Russian volunteers fighting on the side of Ukraine and breaking through the Russian border promised to continue the massive attack on Putin’s troops in the Belgorod and Kursk regions on March 16.
