The press service of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Odesa region reported that a production facility, warehouses, and trucks were damaged. A major fire broke out at this location.
“Thanks to the fact that most workers were sheltered during the air raid alarm, more casualties were avoided. Firefighters’ work was significantly hampered by repeated air raid alarms, and due to the threat, units were forced to temporarily retreat to safer locations. Unfortunately, the fire claimed the life of one person, and two others were injured,” the rescuers said.
It is reported that psychologists from the State Emergency Service were working at the scene of the incident, providing psychological support to the victims.
In another area of the region, the attack damaged the façade and windows of a hotel, a medical facility, a non-food store, and a two-story residential building.
In total, more than 140 rescuers were involved in eliminating the consequences of the enemy attack, including 5 people from the fire department of the National Guard of Ukraine.
As Inna Verba, press secretary for the Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office, clarified to UNIAN, the identity of the deceased man is currently being established. A 36-year-old man and a 45-year-old man were injured.
“Both wounded are in the hospital. The 45-year-old’s condition is serious. Proceedings have been opened under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine—war crimes resulting in death,” Verba emphasized.

Eyewitnesses on social media report that yesterday the occupiers attacked Epicenter and say a fire broke out in the area.
People also reported that the deceased’s body was found in a Nova Poshta warehouse. A law enforcement source confirmed this information to UNIAN, adding that the man was killed and two people were injured in an attack by Russian jet drones in the Odesa region.
Furthermore, the Izmail District State Administration (southern Odessa Oblast) reported that on the night of September 27, the enemy launched an airstrike on the city of Kiliya. The port and civilian infrastructure were targeted.

“Fortunately, there were no casualties. State Emergency Service rescuers quickly extinguished the fire,” the administration noted.

According to Odesa Regional State Administration Head Oleh Kiper, damaged properties in the south of the region include a residential building, a medical facility, a hotel, a store, and a grain storage warehouse.
