President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that US President Donald Trump’s announcement of the start of an “energy truce” came as a surprise to the Ukrainian side. However, Kyiv is ready to support it if Russia adheres to the agreements.

The head of state said this in a comment for Axios , Censor.NET reports.

“The ceasefire announcement was news to me. But if the Russians agree to an energy ceasefire, Ukraine will agree.
