Gennady Trukhanov has been stripped of his Ukrainian citizenship.

The fact that President Zelensky signed the corresponding decree was reported on the program “United News,” citing sources.

This is related to confirmation of his Russian citizenship.

In addition to the mayor of Odessa, similar decrees were signed regarding former Opposition Platform – For Life MP Oleh Tsarev and ballet dancer Sergei Polunin.

The document has not yet been published on the president’s website.

Zelenskyy also reported that he held a meeting on security issues in certain regions, without specifying which ones.

SBU Head Vasyl Malyuk reported on efforts to counter Russian intelligence networks and collaborators in the south and border regions. Russian citizenship has been confirmed for several individuals, and relevant decrees have already been signed.

According to sources at Dumskaya, Serhiy Lysak, the current head of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA, will be appointed head of the Odessa Military Administration

It is known that he spent most of his career in the ranks of the SBU and was not actively involved in politics.

In 2014-2015 and again in 2017, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO). He served in a unit engaged in counter-sabotage operations. He was awarded the Order “For Courage,” 3rd class.

He was also awarded for the development of one of the organized crime groups in the Odessa region – “Cross of Valor”.

On March 26, 2022, he received the rank of brigadier general.

From July 19, 2022 to February 7, 2023 – Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

On March 7, 2023, he was appointed to the post of Chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration.
