BREAKING NEWS: Volgograd Refinery Becomes Third Oil Refinery in Russia to Shut Down After Ukrainian Drone Strike – Bloomberg

According to Bloomberg, the Lukoil PJSC oil refinery in Volgograd has stopped loading oil, becoming the third major refinery in Russia to shut down after a series of strikes by Ukrainian drones.

This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to Ukrinform .

It is noted that the large Volgograd refinery, which has a design capacity of about 300,000 barrels of oil per day, stopped loading oil after one of the latest strikes by Ukrainian drones.

Falling debris from a drone attack on Thursday caused a spill of petroleum products and a fire at the facility, which is among the 10 largest in Russia, Bloomberg reported. According to the regional administration, it took about 19 hours to extinguish the fire.
