Ukrainian Defense Forces have hit two tankers of the Russian shadow fleet , Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said . He also released footage from the operation.

“Our soldiers continue to apply sanctions against the Russian shadow oil fleet – they hit two such vessels in the waters of the entrance to the port of Novorossiysk. These tankers were actively used to transport oil. Now they will not be,” the president said.

He thanked the Chief of the General Staff, Andriy Hnatov, for leading the operation, and the counterintelligence officers of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Navy for the successful results.

He also announced that Ukrainian long-range capabilities will continue to develop – at sea, in the sky, and on land.
