Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Ukraine did not receive official information about the content of the talks between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska, but Kyiv has an idea of ​​the topics of discussion.

According to Zelensky, this primarily concerns key issues regarding the territories of Donbas and temporarily occupied territories, which, in his opinion, complicate the current defense of Ukraine’s positions.

The president noted that signals indicated that frozen Russian assets and the status of occupied territories were discussed during the meeting. He added that such negotiations , even if only one meeting took place, negatively affected Ukrainian interests.

“I believe that the complex issues that we are discussing today are very complex precisely because they were discussed in some format before. If they had only one meeting, then it is not difficult to understand that during the meeting in Alaska they probably talked about Donbas, and also about what to do with the temporarily occupied territories in general, and, I think, about frozen Russian assets,”  Zelensky emphasized  .
