Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that there are currently no negotiations underway to resolve the war in Ukraine.

He stated this to Russian propagandists, Censor.NET reports .

“The absence of any external signs that negotiations are taking place in a calm manner does not mean that such negotiations are taking place. There are none,” said the minister of the occupying country.

According to Lavrov, Europe is “scared to death” of the embodiment of the “spirit of Anchorage.” 

“Europe understands that now, if the Americans suddenly return to their original proposals, as was the case in Anchorage, Europe would simply be scared to death. They immediately rushed to work with US President Donald Trump so that he would not confirm his own initiatives, agreed upon by Russian President Vladimir Putin. And then in June of this year, at the NATO summit, French President Emmanuel Macron proudly announced that that’s it, they buried Anchorage, Trump and the US are back with them. They say, they are all a united front against Russia,” explained the head of the Foreign Ministry of the aggressor country.

Lavrov himself previously said that the “spirit of Anchorage” is evaporating .

Also, according to the Russian minister, the West should not “fuss” with new peaceful ideas:

“A very interesting article was published in one of the American publications, which lists on several pages how the West did not allow Ukraine to sign the settlement initiatives it proposed, which we accepted.
