The sabotage was carried out in Khabarovsk Krai.

In Russia, Ukrainian intelligence officers set off an explosion that blocked cargo traffic on the Trans-Siberian Railway , a key Russian railway artery.

This route is used to ship weapons from North Korea, according to the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.

The incident occurred on November 13 near the village of Sosnovka in Russia’s Khabarovsk Krai, blocking cargo traffic on the Trans-Siberian Railway, a key railway artery in Russia.

According to intelligence sources, this route is used for the delivery of weapons and ammunition, including those obtained from North Korea.

“As a result of a special operation by the Main Intelligence Directorate, a freight train was derailed and the railway track was damaged…

The Kremlin’s intelligence agencies are once again demonstrating their inability to ensure effective control over even the most critical infrastructure facilities for the occupiers,” the Main Intelligence Directorate noted.

Intelligence officers released an exclusive video of the operation’s preparations.

The Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) clarifies that the sabotage was planned near the city of Khabarovsk. After reconnaissance, explosives with a remote controlled detonation were placed under the tracks.

The device was detonated as the train approached.

Meanwhile, Russian media reported that local residents heard a loud roar for a long time on the night of November 14. Now, according to the GUR, Russian authorities are trying to disguise the problem as necessary repairs.

Strikes against the GUR in Russia

As UNIAN reported, on the night of November 14, SBU Alpha special forces, together with the Main Intelligence Directorate, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Border Service, the coastal missile and artillery troops of the Navy, and other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, conducted a special operation to destroy the oil terminal of the Novorossiysk seaport (Krasnodar Krai, Russia).

This port is known as a major hub for Russian oil exports across the Black Sea. Damage is reported to oil loading arms at the berths, pipeline infrastructure, and pumping units. The impact also caused a fire at the oil terminal.
