Attacks on Russia’s energy infrastructure
Ukraine has intensified its attacks on Russian energy and oil export infrastructure. As UNIAN reported, on the night of November 14, Ukrainian drones attacked one of Russia’s key oil export ports, Novorossiysk . According to the local task force, the attack damaged an oil depot at the Sheskharis transshipment complex and coastal facilities.
In early November, Ukrainian drones carried out an explosive attack on an oil terminal in Tuapse, Krasnodar Krai. The strike damaged a tanker and port infrastructure.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces are also keeping an eye on enemy energy infrastructure. Specifically, recently, the Kostroma State District Power Plant (GRES), one of Russia’s most powerful power plants, was struck in the city of Volgorechensk in the Kostroma region .
