The Ukrainian Navy, in cooperation with the Main Intelligence Directorate, conducted a successful operation in the Black Sea, during which the Defense Forces destroyed a Russian unmanned naval craft, according to the Ukrainian Navy’s press service .
The Russian target was reportedly detected by GUR units. Following this, the Ukrainian Navy’s Sargan 3000 unmanned naval craft, equipped with an RWS Protector automatic combat turret with a 12.7mm machine gun, opened fire and destroyed the enemy boat.
“This is the first naval battle in history between unmanned boats,” the Navy emphasizes.
The navy released a video of the battle. The footage shows the engagement between the BEKs, which ended with the sinking of the Russian boat.
