Locals are outraged that no air raid siren was sounded in the region during the attack.
Russian air defense once again worked “effectively”, shooting down a drone right above the city beach, where people were relaxing at the time. This is reported by Russian media.

On August 3, drones attacked the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation. One of the downed UAVs crashed on the beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka near Gelendzhik. According to Russian authorities, six people were killed by falling debris.
“The number of dead in the village of Arkhipo-Osypivka has increased to six people, three of whom are children… At the moment, the number of injured has reached about 40 people, 17 of whom were taken to medical facilities in Gelendzhik, Tuapse District and Garyachy Klyuch,” said the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratyev.
According to a report by the Telegram channel Supernova , the Rassvet recreation center, a personal base of NPO Mashinostroenie, a Moscow-based enterprise developing cruise missiles for the Russian army, is located near the drone crash site. According to the same data, the drone’s flight distance to the object was approximately 300 meters.
Meanwhile, local residents and vacationers complain that no alarm was sounded at all, although warning systems are installed in the village. Astra Channel also noted that no air raid warning signal was sounded in the region during the attack.

Welcome to Crimea.
You can hear the machinegun fire in a video I saw. Bullets come down somewhere. Not a great idea to use them over a crowded beach.
