Metro and ground public transport traffic on the bridge has been suspended.
Russia has again struck the Southern Bridge in Kyiv , causing damage to the roadway. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced this .
“As a result of the drone strike, according to preliminary information, the bridge support, crash barrier, road surface, and protective concrete barrier of the subway were damaged. Subway specialists are de-energizing the subway track. Subway and ground public transportation service on the bridge has been suspended,” he added.
It’s worth noting that earlier today, two Russian drones had already landed near the support section of the Southern Bridge.
According to the monitoring channel ” iRadar ,” there is information that during the next ballistic missile strike on the capital, which could occur in the near future, Russia will attempt to strike the same Southern Bridge with Iskander-M missiles and/or Korean high-powered KN-24 missiles.
“It’s worth noting that bridges across the Dnieper River in the capital have been planned since 2024, and it’s clear that this bridge has now been designated a priority,” they added.

Kyiv has no airdefense systems, thats clear. And nobody has interest to destroy the Kerch Bridge. This Kyiv bridge will be gone very soon.
