Rescuers are clearing the rubble of a multi-story residential building. They have already rescued 12 people alive.

Russian occupiers struck the city of Pryluky in the Chernihiv region with missiles, resulting in deaths and numerous injuries.

Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram. “A missile strike hit Pryluky. One of the hits hit a multi-story residential building. It happened in the morning, when people were still asleep. Preliminary reports of dead and wounded have already been received. All services are currently involved, and rubble clearing continues,” Chaus noted.

According to updated data from the State Emergency Service, 14 people, including 4 children, were killed as a result of the strike on the 5-story building.

The rescue operation at the site of the high-rise residential building where the bomb struck is ongoing. “Fifty people were injured, including seven children. Fifteen people, including one child, were rescued,” the statement read.

As President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated , “There may still be people under the rubble. Rescuers are constantly working on the site – doing everything they can to find each and every one.”
