The Russians claim that the dictator was allegedly on board his helicopter when the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Kurshchyna with drones.

Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s helicopter was allegedly at the epicenter of a large-scale attack by Ukrainian Armed Forces drones during a visit to the Kursk region, the commander of the regional air defense unit, Yuri Dashkin, reported in a comment to the Russian publication RBC .
According to him, during the Kremlin head’s visit, the Ukrainian side launched an “unprecedented attack,” during which 46 drones were allegedly shot down.
“We simultaneously conducted anti-aircraft combat and ensured the safety of the presidential helicopter’s flight in the air,” Dashkin said, emphasizing that the helicopter was actually in the center of the fighting.
Ukraine has not officially commented on the incident yet. Putin’s visit to the Kursk region took place on May 20.
