A residential high-rise building in Odessa was damaged as a result of an enemy strike. The number of victims has increased to six.

On the night and morning of September 12, Russian forces launched missile and drone strikes on Odessa , Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro, and Zaporizhia. There are reports of casualties, injuries, and damage to residential buildings and industrial enterprises.

In particular, in the morning, Russian troops launched a missile strike on Odessa. As a result of the attack, a multi-storey residential building was damaged. This was reported by the head of the Odessa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak. Updated at 8:06. Later, the head of the Odessa OVA Oleg Kiper reported that at least 12 people were already known to have been injured in the Russian attack. Among them is a child. As the official noted, the enemy carried out a massive missile and drone attack on the civilian infrastructure of the Odessa region. As a result of the strike in Odessa, the upper floors of a residential high-rise building were completely destroyed. The blast wave damaged neighboring residential buildings and a low-pressure gas pipeline. At another address, three more residential buildings were damaged, one of which was completely destroyed, as well as a gas pipeline. All relevant services are working at the sites of enemy strikes. Operational headquarters have been deployed. 

Eyewitnesses report that the Perlyna residential complex in the Arcadia resort area of ​​Odessa was damaged. People write that there is significant damage here.

Updated at 8:32. As Kiper specified , 16 victims in Odessa are already known. Among them is a five-month-old child. “At least six have been hospitalized, including a child. All are being provided with the necessary assistance. The liquidation of the consequences is ongoing at the sites of the strikes,” the official said.

Updated at 9:18.  According to the press service of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odessa region, in Odessa, apartments from the 21st to the 23rd floors of a 25-story residential building were on fire. In addition, in the city of Chornomorsk, which is not far from the regional center, a residential building was destroyed, 3 more were damaged, a gas pipe was damaged with subsequent fire in the house, as well as a hotel with a rehabilitation center and cars parked nearby. In total, in Chornomorsk, according to preliminary data, 6 people were injured, including 5 children.

Kryvyi Rih

On the night of September 12, Russian forces also attacked Kryvyi Rih with ballistic missiles from several directions. One person was killed and two others were injured in a strike on an industrial enterprise.

The fact of the attack was confirmed by the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul.

“The city is under attack by ballistic missiles from various directions,” he said.

Dnipro

During the night attack, the Dnipro was also hit. A fire broke out at one of the industrial enterprises. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties, Ganzha reported .

Zaporizhzhia

At night, Russian occupation forces attacked Zaporizhia with strike drones. One of the drones hit a private sector. Initially, it was reported that two people were pulled from the rubble. One of the victims died.

Rescuers later found the body of a man under the rubble. According to updated data, a 64-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man were killed in the Russian strike in Zaporizhia. Another 59-year-old woman was injured.

Kyiv region

According to the Kyiv OVA, over the past 24 hours, one person has died and three have been injured in the Kyiv region as a result of enemy shelling. Among the injured is a child.

The consequences of the enemy attack were recorded in the Brovary, Obukhiv, Buchanan, Boryspil, and Vyshgorod districts.

A total of 15 objects were damaged, including 7 private households, vehicles, warehouses and hangars, and a power line. The most damage was in the Obukhiv district.
