Today, Russian occupiers launched a ballistic strike on the Odessa region – two people were killed and 15 more were injured.
As UNIAN was informed by the spokeswoman of the Odessa regional prosecutor’s office, Inna Verba, in the afternoon, the Russian armed forces attacked civilian infrastructure facilities in the Odessa region with two ballistic missiles. In particular, a number of warehouses were damaged. As a result of the enemy attack, a 68-year-old and a 49-year-old man died.
“According to preliminary information, at least 13 more people were injured. Of these, a 30-year-old and a 35-year-old man are in serious condition in the hospital. Among the injured is a woman,” Verba said.
She clarified that a 68-year-old man died in intensive care, while another died on the spot.
As noted by the prosecutor’s office, an investigation has been launched into the facts of war crimes that caused the deaths of people (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).Read also:
The head of the Odessa OVA, Oleg Kiper, stated that, according to preliminary data, two people died, another 15 were injured, 11 of them were hospitalized.
“All victims are receiving the necessary medical care,” Kiper added.
According to him, damage was recorded on the territory of one of the enterprises, and in connection with this, a fire broke out, which has now been extinguished.
All relevant services are working on the scene. Information about the consequences of the attack is being clarified, the official noted.
