Private residential buildings were also damaged.

This morning and night, the Russian army launched a massive drone attack on Odessa and surrounding areas, targeting energy infrastructure.

According to Odesa Regional State Administration Head Oleh Kiper, the enemy has once again attacked the region with attack drones. Despite the active efforts of air defense forces, which destroyed most of the enemy targets, damage to civilian facilities was recorded. As a result of impacts and falling debris, fires broke out at energy and transport infrastructure facilities, which have already been extinguished by rescuers. Several private homes were damaged, with broken windows, roofs, and fences. An assessment of the extent of the damage is ongoing.

According to preliminary reports, there are no fatalities or injuries. Rescue and emergency services continue to work on the ground.

The regional headquarters of the State Emergency Service clarified that both individual districts of the region and Odessa were under attack.

“As a result of enemy drone strikes, fires broke out at energy infrastructure facilities and in a former industrial building,” rescuers explained.
