Newly elected deputies of the Russian State Duma, whose relatives died in the war against Ukraine, are preparing a closed appeal to Defense Minister Andrei Belousov calling for the withdrawal of troops in the Liman area. This was reported by the Atesh partisan movement.
According to partisans, deputies learned of massive losses among Russian troops in the Liman area, where the Third Army Corps’ Operation Vivaldi is ongoing.
Atesh agents from the Center Group of Forces of the Russian Armed Forces have noted the significant technical superiority of Ukrainian forces in this area and complained that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are using new robotic systems.
The appeal to Belousov will also address the incompetence of Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Valery Gerasimov, and systemic problems in the Russian military. Specifically, the extensive lies cultivated by Russian military leaders in order to award new awards for supposedly captured settlements.
As previously reported, during the offensive operation “Vivaldi,” Biletsky’s corps thwarted Russian forces’ attempt to encircle the fortified towns in the Donetsk region from the north and south. During the first and second seasons of the operation, the Third Corps and attached units recaptured 125 square kilometers of territory from Russian control.
Among the liberated settlements was the village of Shandrigolovo, where the Russians lost a significant number of infantry. Operation “Vivaldi” continues.
“The forces of the Third Army Corps are daily reducing the offensive potential of three Russian armies: the First Tank Army, the 20th Army, and the 25th Combined Arms Army. During the second stage, more than 800 enemy troops were killed. Including those wounded and captured, total enemy losses amounted to more than 3,000,” reported Brigadier General Andrei Biletsky.
On September 18, the Third Army Corps reported that the command and control system of the elite Russian Rubicon UAV unit had been paralyzed; due to heavy losses, it was withdrawn from the Limansko-Borovskoye area.
