The head of the Presidential Office called this step by the Russian Federation “the utmost impudence.”
Russia sent its armored vehicles to storm Ukrainian positions, on which it installed the flag of the Russian Federation and the United States of America. The corresponding video was published by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak.
“How should this be understood? Russian propagandists are showing a video of Russian equipment going into an assault with Russian and US flags. In fact, the Russians are using the symbols of the United States in their own terrorist, predatory war with the murder of civilians. Maximum impudence,” Yermak wrote.
According to the head of the Center for the Study of Occupation, Petro Andryushchenko, the equipment in the video is an American-made M113 armored personnel carrier. According to him, the incident occurred during the Russian assault on Malaya Tokmachka in the Zaporizhia region.
“The Russians have already recognized the US as an ally and are storming Malaya Tokmachka on an M113 armored personnel carrier. With Russian and US flags. This is the logical end to all of Trump’s absurdity. And all of this is on the official channel of official propaganda from Russia Today. There are no words,”
Andryushchenko noted.
