Senior Iranian official Amir-Ali Hajizadeh was killed in Israeli airstrikes on a command center on the night of June 13.

The IDF officially confirmed the information about the elimination of the head of the Iranian IRGC Aerospace Forces, who was the central figure in the country responsible for direct air attacks on Israel.

“As part of the combined initial strike, Israeli Air Force fighters struck the command center where the commander of the Aerospace Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Major General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, was located, along with other senior officials. IRGC UAV commander Taher Pour and IRGC Air Force commander Daoud Sheikhyan were also eliminated,” the Israeli army said.

This was later also confirmed in Tehran.

According to media reports, Hajizadeh is the person directly responsible for the sale of “Shahed” kamikaze drones and related technologies for their production to Russia.
