Russian Special Envoy Kirill Dmitriev announced that he received an award for “leadership in promoting dialogue between the US and Russia” from the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia. He announced this on his X social media page.

According to Dmitriev, more than 150 American companies currently operate in Russia, more than 70% of which have been in the country’s market for 25 years.

Furthermore, Putin’s special envoy accused former US President Joe Biden of allegedly causing American businesses to lose more than $300 billion in lost profits in Russia due to his policies.

It’s well known that the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia is a non-governmental, private organization. It’s marketed as cooperating with Americans and Russians. It’s also not part of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
