The president emphasized that the Russian dictator wants more war.

Russia launched more than 440 drones and 32 missiles into Ukraine – one of the most devastating strikes on Kyiv. This is how Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky responded to the massive attack on Ukraine.

“One of the most terrible strikes on Kyiv. Also during the night, Odessa, Zaporizhia, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, and Kyiv regions were attacked,” he noted .

According to him, there are regular reports from Interior Minister Klymenko and military commanders on the situation after the massive Russian strike.

“Now in Kyiv they are trying to get people out from under the rubble of an ordinary residential building. It is unclear how many there are. The Russians destroyed an entire entrance. In total, houses in eight districts of Kyiv were damaged. Work is still ongoing after the strike on Odessa, rescuers are working at all arrival points. All victims are being provided with the necessary assistance, 75 people are known to have been injured. As of now, 15 people have died,” he noted.

Zelensky stressed that such attacks are “pure terrorism” and the whole world, the US and Europe must finally react the way they react to terrorists. The President of Ukraine emphasized:

“Putin is doing this solely because he can afford to continue the war. He wants the war to continue. It is bad when the powerful of this world turn a blind eye to this. We are contacting all partners at all possible levels so that there is an appropriate response. It is the terrorists who should feel the pain, not normal, peaceful people.”

Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported that three people have died as a result of the Russian attack on the Darnytsia district of the capital. In total, 114 injured people sought medical attention after the massive enemy shelling.

“68 of them were hospitalized. The others did not require hospitalization after receiving medical care,” the mayor noted.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal emphasized that as a result of the Russian attack with drones and missiles, apartment buildings, dormitories, and a kindergarten were damaged.

“In Kyiv, in the Solomyanskyi district, a building from the 1st to the 9th floor has been partially destroyed. There may still be people under the rubble. Rescuers are working on site to provide assistance to the victims,” he noted .

He noted that as of now, 15 people are known to have died as a result of the Russian attack, including a US citizen.

“About 75 wounded, including almost 60 in Kyiv, among them children,” Shmyhal said.

The Prime Minister stressed that Russia’s actions have nothing to do with the desire for peace. He stressed:

“Every day the aggressor continues to kill. The world must respond to this. With sanctions and increased aid to Ukraine. We must increase pressure to force Russia to cease fire.”

Head of the KMVA Timur Tkachenko notes that 99 people are already known to have been injured as a result of the Russian attack on Kyiv, 59 of whom are hospitalized.

“At the same time, information is coming in that 104 victims have already been recorded. We are checking. Rescue work is still ongoing on the ground, people continue to seek help. Unfortunately, the number of victims may increase,” he wrote .

Tkachenko reported 14 deaths in Kyiv.

“As for the dead, there are 14 as of now, but the clearing of the rubble is ongoing, in particular at the site of the entrance to a high-rise building in the Solomyansky district destroyed by the Russians,” he notes.
