Head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Refat Chubarov has called on Russian citizens illegally staying in temporarily occupied Crimea to leave the peninsula immediately, warning that the opportunity to do so may soon disappear.

He said this in a video address on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

Chubarov said that for more than three weeks, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had been carrying out precise and effective strikes against Russian military targets in Crimea, and that the intensity of these attacks was increasing.

“I would like to specifically address those who settled on the peninsula after February 27, 2014. Your stay in Crimea with falsified Russian property documents is illegal under both Ukrainian law and international law in every respect. As long as the Kerch Bridge is functioning, you still have a chance to leave Crimea. Soon, this opportunity will no longer exist. Do not postpone your departure. Pack your things and return to your homeland. Now. Later it will be too late,” he said.

He also urged pro-Ukrainian residents of Crimea, especially those living near Russian military bases and critical infrastructure, to carefully consider their personal safety.

Chubarov warned that fuel shortages in occupied Crimea are likely to worsen, potentially triggering broader disruptions in trade and access to essential goods. He advised residents to prepare in advance and to prioritize safety.

As reported by Ukrinform, Commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces Robert “Madyar” Brovdi stated that Ukraine aims to isolate Crimea from Russia.
