On the evening of August 3, an explosion occurred at an electrical substation in temporarily occupied Berdyansk, Zaporizhia region. This caused a power outage at the repair base of the Russian invaders.

As Censor.NET reports , this was reported by “Public” interlocutors in the special services.

It is noted that after the occupation of Berdyansk, the Russian military converted the workshops of the Berdyansk Reapers plant into a large repair base and warehouse for storing military equipment, weapons, and housing personnel of the Russian army.

“Local residents were the first to write about the powerful explosion on social networks. Later, eyewitnesses shared videos and information on public forums that one of the city’s substations caught fire for unknown reasons, causing power outages on some nearby streets,” the report says.

As a result of the explosion and subsequent fire in the transformers, the substation that supplied electricity to the Russian military equipment repair company was put out of service.

The final consequences of the explosion and the extent of the damage are being determined, they added.
