BREAKING NEWS: A Tu-22M3 strategic bomber crashed in Russia.

On Monday, June 15, a Tu-22M3 strategic bomber-missile carrier crashed in the Irkutsk region of Russia.

This was reported by the Russian Telegram channels Mash,  ASTRA  , and “Ostorozhno Novosti.” The incident allegedly occurred during a “scheduled training flight” while approaching landing. The Tu-22M3 was allegedly taking off without ammunition at the time.

Other details include that the plane crashed near the town of Svirsk in the Irkutsk region. Eyewitnesses noticed parachute canopies in the sky; Russian media reports claim the crew managed to eject before the plane crashed.
