According to preliminary data, it “flew” into technical areas where enemy combat aircraft are preparing for takeoff.

Ukrainian Defense Forces are keeping Russian logistics under fire in the south, as part of a systematic effort to liberate temporarily occupied Crimea , where the Gvardeyskoye military airfield is currently burning. Ukrainian Volunteer Army spokesman Serhiy Bratchuk stated this on Radio NV .

A man with a beard is speaking, with a blurred background of a military setting. On the right side, there is a view of smoke rising from a distance, among trees.

He noted that due to attacks on logistics, particularly in Chongar, the enemy is looking for bypass routes, while yesterday he acknowledged that secondary roads are also controlled by the Defense Forces.

“Today, the highway is under control, if we’re talking about the Simferopol-Rostov route. Incidentally, the Mariupol-Novoazovsk section saw some Defense Force activity today,” Bratchuk said.

According to him, satellite images show fires at the Gvardeyskoye airfield, and preliminary reports indicate that the missiles “landed” on the technical platforms where combat aircraft are preparing for takeoff. The expert recalled that storage sites for Shahed and Geranium missiles, which terrorize the population in the south, destroy civilian infrastructure, and so on, had previously been destroyed at this airfield.

As Bratchuk noted, the Crimean front is currently “extremely active” and, likely, over time, the fire control zones will expand.

“These events are bringing the most important thing closer—they should impact, I hope we’ll see this in a few weeks—the Russian occupiers’ ability to conduct such intense military operations, particularly in the southern operational zone. Regarding Crimea, Tsirkons were flying from there to the capital today,” Bratchuk emphasized.Read also:

The Defense Forces, he added, have plenty of work to do to liberate the peninsula from the occupiers—a “military hub” into which Russia has transformed a once-prosperous region. While the speaker refrained from predicting when the Autonomous Republic of Crimea would be liberated, he noted that this is precisely the goal of the Defense Forces’ systematic strikes against enemy logistics.
