On Saturday, August 1, a loud explosion was heard in a restaurant in central Moscow. It is preliminary known that there are dead and injured as a result of the incident.
This is reported by Russian Telegram channels, Censor.NET reports.
Telegram channel Baza reports that the explosion occurred at the Balzi Rossi restaurant. The restaurant was closed for a private banquet today, the resource writes.
Russian media reports three dead and 17 seriously injured. Total number of injured is 21.
Dozens of ambulances and fire trucks arrived at the scene.
Russian media also claim that the explosion was allegedly caused by a gas leak.
An eyewitness told the Astra Telegram channel that the restaurant was celebrating the general’s birthday. Many cars with black license plates were parked near the establishment.
Black license plates are usually used on vehicles of the Armed Forces and some other law enforcement agencies. In addition, a bus of the Russian National Guard was parked nearby.
