A drone struck a grain carrier in the Black Sea this morning near Romania’s Neptun Deep offshore gas project.

Romania Journal stated this in an article, according to Ukrinform.
Rhe incident occurred on Monday near the Black Sea coast, close to the Pescăruș offshore gas platform operated by OMV Petrom. The drone struck the Turkish-flagged vessel Royad Mammadov, which was carrying grain.
The vessel caught fire and sank, while Romanian authorities participated in the rescue operation.
According to Romania’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, two people were killed and 11 crew members were rescued.
The incident occurred approximately 20 nautical miles from the Romanian coast and 9 nautical miles from the Pescăruș platform.
Digi24 journalist Iulia Stancu said an alert was issued at around 11:00 a.m., when the Romanian Naval Authority received a report of a serious incident that had occurred outside Romania’s territorial waters.
As Ukrinform previously reported, in August Romania scrambled F-16 fighter jets to destroy a maritime drone detected several hundred meters from the Neptun Deep gas project platform in the Black Sea.

Russia destroyed Turkish ship in Romanian territorial waters. NATO keeps snoring.
No complaints from my side. 😁
